Vinho Verde – Green Wine
Often I get asked about the Vinho Verde Wines. most of the people visiting Portugal already heard or even tried some of the “green Wines” of Portugal. But almost everyone does not know that it is not a specially produced wine, but actually a wine region. So in this edition, we take a closer look at what makes Vinho Verde so special. We learn about the special features of the region, learn about its history, and (here comes the most important part!) taste 5 different Vinho verdes. All very different in style, but all Vinho Verdes. We taste 4 different white wines, and one red. Yes, that’s right, because there is also red Vinho Verde!
What is included in the Wine Tasting?
🍷 We will taste 5 wines from the Vinho Verde Region, coming directly from the vineyards / the Region
🧀 Some food, to pair with the different wines
💬 Infos about the Wines, the Region, the grapes and the Producers
